My daughter goes to a public elementary school, and it has been closed since March 3.

I received an email from the school on April 28 saying that the school closure would be extended by May 31.

I was prepared for the news, but I was disappointed.

私の娘は市立の小学校に通っているが、学校は 3月3日から休校している。
休校期間が5月31日までに延長される、との連絡が4月28日に学校からメールで届いた。
覚悟はしていたが、がっくりきてしまった。
